For Winter 2025, three major fashion houses – Balenciaga, Armani Neve and Gucci – introduce skiwear lines that reflect distinct approaches to performance, design and winter style. Each collection interprets cold – weather dressing through its own aesthetic language, moving confidently between technical demands and contemporary fashion codes.
Under Aidan Zamiri’s direction, Balenciaga shifts the alpine narrative into an urban context. The campaign moves away from snowy peaks and situates the silhouettes between pavements and storefronts, allowing the pieces to operate as winter performance were adapted to city living.
The collection focuses on technical construction: reversible down jackets and vets, hooded parks, and zippered outerwear equipment with water – repellent membranes, Aquazip closures and Recco systems. Cuts remains fluid and precise, echoing the movement of a skier, while fleece and nylon introduce warmth and stability without excess volume.
Accessories expand the performance dimension. Mirrored skis and snowboards in limited editions, shock – resistant helmets, ultralight poles and silver – black Mask goggles are crafted with Italian specialists known for high – level precision. Footwear from the Dumbo and Alaska lines introduces weight and structure, and Balenciaga icons – the Explorer, Rodeo and Le City bags – return in leather and shearling to anchor the collection within the house’s broader vocabulary.
Balenciaga’s skiwear reads as metropolitan, defined by direct construction and a controlled, almost futuristic aesthetic.

Presented in Milan, Armani Neve approaches mountain dressing through a refinement specific to the house. The collection builds on the line’s long history – introduced in 1995 – with silhouettes shaped by clarity, material integrity and a calm, structured direction.
For women, technical silk appears in jumpsuits and pea coats that move lightly across the body. Cashmere fleece blousons, ponchos and long or three – quarter coats provide warmth without heaviness, while sheepskin gilets offer soft volume. Knitwear plays a central role, designed in fine and sculptural gauges, often functioning as outerwear in its own right.
The palette spans beige, camel, deep navy and grey, with icy blue highlights that recall glacier light. Men’s pieces include metallic – fabric ski suits, down jackets, long -haired shearling blousons, and water – repellent constructions with reflective elements. Chunky pullovers add tactile strength and support layered silhouettes.
Accessories – hats, balaclavas, scarves, gloves, boots and shearling bags – complete the alpine identity. The Giorgio Armani x Poldo Dog Couture partnership continues with pinstripe and velvet pet pieces that extend the house aesthetic into lifestyle design.
Armani Neve frames winter performance through controlled elegance, maintaining a balance between technical intention and understated Italian design.

With Gucci Altitude, the house enters the winter sports category for the first time. The collection positions performance and serenity at the center, guided by ambassador Jannik Sienner, whose roots in skiing inform the campaign’s narrative. The imagery highlights discipline, precision and the focused calm associated with high – altitude environments.
The ready – to – wear selection introduces breathable three-layer jackets, water-repellent finishes, ski – pass pockets and touchscreen – compatible linings. The pieces communicate function through discreet detailing and clean construction. Accessories include wrap – around goggles, logo – embellished ski eyewear and equipment developed with HEAD – ski, snowboards, bags and helmets marked by the house’s Web stripe.
Across these three collections, Winter 2025 highlights a shared direction in luxury skiwear: technical precision, controlled silhouettes and a clear move toward systems designed for varied environments. While each house retains its identity – Balenciaga’s urban edge, Armani Veve’s Material refinement, Gucci’s disciplined clarity – all three establish a winter vocabulary built on performance, purposed and contemporary style.
